Reformer Classes
If you are new to the Reformer and interested in joining a Reformer class, please CONTACT US to set up your 30 minute Reformer Demo. Depending on your level, a couple Pilates Privates may also be recommended.
Reformer classes are a great way to take your Pilates to a whole new level! You will tone, strengthen, stretch, realign and feel fantastic after every class. If you are interested in joining one of our Reformer classes please talk to your instructor. Classes are limited to 3-4 participants so special care is taken to match participants with similar goals and levels. You may need to do a few private sessions first, to evaluate your level and orientate you to the equipment. Classes are 50 minutes, and previous reformer experience is required. The Reformer is the traditional main piece of equipment used in the Pilates Method. Reformer exercises use spring resistance to elongate and strengthen the entire body. Challenging balance, developing strength, and releasing tension. The result is a uniformly developed body with strong back and abdominal muscles. The reformer Jump Board will at times be included and is a fun way to incorporate cardiovascular exercise. The Jump Board is an excellent non-weight bearing method to increase your heart rate, burn some serious calories – all while engaging your core.
